Transwestern and KBS Partner Again to Support Fallen Veterans
November 11 is Veterans Day, and here’s one way you can support and honor the good men and women who have sacrificed their lives while serving the country. For the second year in a row, Transwestern and KBS are donating to Wreaths Across America, a non-profit organization that lays wreaths to honor fallen veterans at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as over 1,200 locations nationwide.
Since October 26 and running until November 27, the companies are collecting donations at 31 KBS properties that Transwestern manages. For each wreath, they will offer a matching donation, up to 2,000 wreaths. One hundred percent of the money will be given to Wreaths Across America. $15 buys one wreath, which can be donated here.
Transwestern’s president Chip Clarke said, “In 2016, we were able to pay tribute to more than 6,000 veterans with wreaths through this initiative, and we hope to honor even more servicemen and women this year.”
