San Diego County’s Real Estate Outlook Improves
USD Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate has put out a new report on San Diego County’s real estate environment, and things keep looking up.
From April to March, the area jumped 0.9 percent on its index scale, hitting 138.9.
The reason for the jump is an increase in building permits, a rise in help-wanted signs around the area and a good outlook for the national economy, among other factors.
The rest of the year and the beginning of 2016 looks good as well. Wages and hiring are expected to increase, and there is a lot of multifamily construction on tap. The industries that are driving an increase in office occupancy are professional, scientific, and technical services.
