RAMCO Properties Changes Name, Relocates to NY

National  + Weekender  |

RAMCO Properties is changing its name to RPT Realty and has relocated to New York to be closer to leading retailers and the financial community. The shift signifies a new strategic direction under recently-appointed President and CEO Brian Harper, EVP and CFO Michael Fitzmaurice and EVP of Leasing Timothy Collier.

Harper says, “In the four months since the change in leadership, we have streamlined our operating platform, reset our organizational culture, opened a new corporate headquarters in New York City, experienced strategic board of trustee changes, and identified the building blocks to deliver tangible and sustainable long-term growth for our shareholders.”

The firm, which owns open-air shopping, lifestyle and power centers, also plans to transform four properties into mixed-use destinations with retail, multifamily, office and hospitality components. They include Centennial Shops in Edina, MN, Webster Place in Chicago (pictured), The Shops on Lane Avenue in Upper Arlington, OH and Riverfront Square near Boca Raton, FL.
