Pinterest Signs Lease for Engineering Office Space in Seattle

Pinterest Inc. is leasing permanent space at the Met Park East building in Seattle. The San Francisco-based tech company is moving to 1730 Minor Ave. and will take 21,520 square feet in the tower, reported the Puget Sound Business Journal.

JLL’s Senior Managing Director Kris Richey Curtis arranged Pinterest’s expansion lease in Seattle. It will be the first permanent office for the image-sharing tech firm in the region after operating for eight years out of a downtown Seattle WeWork office.

Pinterest has approximately 4,000 employees companywide, and the company has other company offices in Toronto, New York, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Chicago and Palo Alto, California. Other tech companies in the Seattle area have signaled their intent to occupy space, such as TikTok looking to lease six floors in the Lincoln Square North tower.
