Ohio Set to Open First Buc-ee’s Store in Huber Heights

Ohio is set to get the state’s first Buc-ee’s after Huber Heights city commissioners voted unanimously to approve the final plans. An empty field off state Route 235 will soon be transformed into a 27,000-square-foot convenience store

The development plans call for construction of a travel center at 8000 Ohio State Route 235 in Huber Heights, outside Dayton. The company plans to start work on the new Buc-cee’s in the coming months, with the new store expected to open in 2025.

The location would employ approximately 200 people. Kentucky opened its first-ever Buc-ee’s location last year in the city of Richmond, and the company is expanding beyond its typical home states of Texas, Alabama, Georgia and Florida into new regions, including Arizona.
