Goodyear Lands Arizona’s First Buc-ee’s

The iconic Buc-ee’s chain started in Texas and has opened some stores in mostly Sunbelt states, 50 in all. Arizona will soon have its first. The gas station chain known for its massive stores and numerous gas pumps will open in Goodyear on 22 acres just off I-10. The company bought the land for $17 million earlier this month and will soon break ground on a 75,000 square foot store, possibly the biggest in the chain.

The new Buc-ee’s location is expected to employ more than 200 people and operate 24 hours and 365 days a year.

Velocity Retail Group’s Dave Cheatham, Darren Pitts, and Bonnie Arlia represent Buc-ee’s in Arizona. Velocity Retail Group is part of The X Team Retail Advisors. Dave Cheatham is the president.

Buc-ee’s is not a truck stop but a location for travelers and families driving across major highways such as I-10.
