Kidder Mathews Grows Office, Retail Team in Seattle

Kidder Mathews has added several new hires to the firm’s growing teams in the Pacific Northwest.

Retail specialist John Chelico has joined the company as a senior vice president in downtown Seattle. He is a veteran of the commercial real estate industry with over 28 years of experience in the Puget Sound region. Over the course of his career, Chelico has completed over five million square feet of retail leases, totaling over $400 million in rental income. Chelico’s clients include institutional owners, REITS, developers and high-net-worth individuals.

This is the second broker to join Kidder Mathews’ Seattle headquarters in the last month. The firm welcomed Tyler Nicholes, a former top producer at Marcus & Millichap, at the end of January.

The firm also recently hired office tenant advisory specialist Matthew Renshaw as a senior vice president. He brings over 20 years of market expertise, representing both tenants and landlords. Before joining Kidder Mathews, Renshaw spent 15 years at CBRE, where he served as vice president, CB Commercial as managing principal, and SVN as managing principal. Over the course of his career, he has brokered over 11,000,000 square feet of office space.
