JV Commits to Allen Office Tower

A joint venture made up of Pillar Commercial and Hall Capital is gearing up to build a nine-story office building on 710 S. Watter Road, next to the Marriott Dallas Allen Hotel and Convention Center. The Allen Economic Development Corp. is considering an incentive package for the development. The Dallas Morning News reports that a date for the start of construction was not revealed, but it could take 18 to 24 months and cost more than $100 million.

A courtyard is expected to offer amenities such as pickleball courts and putting greens. There will be 3,500 square feet of retail space.

Pillar and Hall are familiar with this area of Allen. In the past three years, they bought the campus’ other two office buildings, One Bethany East and One Bethany West, which span a combined 320,000 square feet.
