The Dinerstein Companies has given into the urge to capitalize on the latest trend…build-to-rent homes., The Houston-based multifamily developer has started work on a single-family build-to-rent community in suburban Houston, calling their BTR effort “Inspire Homes”. Brad Dinerstein says the trend is almost too good to pass up, “The build-to-rent fundamentals have been phenomenal, and single-family build-to-rent has continued to prove itself as a solid niche with real runway and longevity within the rental housing market.” 

Missouri City, 20 miles from Houston, is the spot the Dinerstein Cos. has chosen for its first project, a 36-acre parcel with room for 186 rental homes, all with front yards, oversized fenced backyards and attached two car garages. The community offers three different floor plans, ranging from 1,114-SF to 1,374-SF. The development will be gated with a free-standing clubhouse, a fitness center and a pool with a spa. The project is scheduled to be completed fall 2024 with initial occupancy beginning in spring 2023.
