Global Marketing Agency CSM Establishes First Manhattan Office in Chelsea

CSM Sport and Entertainment, a global integrated marketing and brand experience agency, has signed a three-year lease for 11,940 square feet at GFP Real Estate’s 80 Eighth Ave in Chelsea. The new space will be used for general and administrative offices by CSM, which has more than 1,000 employees in 25 locations worldwide and is setting up shop in New York for the first time. 

Sean Hoffman, formerly of Savills, represented CSM in leasing negotiations. Matthew Mandell of GFP Real Estate represented ownership. 

“80 Eighth Ave. has long attracted tech and creative firms looking for offices with an industrial look and feel, that want to be near other tech giants like Google and Facebook,” said Mandell.  “It’s the perfect location for CSM to set up its first offices in the city.” 

Built in 1929, 80 Eighth Ave. has long been known as the Bankers Trust Company Building.
