Global Law Firm to Relocate DC Office to Midtown Center
Global law firm Freshfields US LLP will relocate its Washington, D.C. office to Midtown Center, and the firm has signed a long-term lease for 117,000 square feet of space on floors six through eight in the West Tower of the building.
Freshfields will move from its current office at 700 13th Street NW, where the firm has been located since 2014. Midtown Center is an 869,000 square foot trophy office building with two towers connected by three pedestrian bridges.
Amy Bowser and Brooks Brown of CBRE and Kaitlyn Rausse and Ryan Lopez of Carr represented the landlord in the deal. Rob Copito and Harry Stephens of CBRE represented Freshfields.
“Freshfields’ move to Midtown Center reflects the firm’s commitment to providing a high-quality, elevated workplace that aligns with their global brand and supports their growth trajectory,” said Harry Stephens, Senior Vice President of CBRE’s Mid-Atlantic Region.
