Doug Hocking Joins NBBJ as Commercial Market Leader, Principal
NBBJ, a global architecture and design firm, has appointed Doug Hocking, AIA, as its Commercial Market Leader and Principal, based in New York.
Hocking, with 30 years of experience, is known for his work in adaptive reuse and building repositioning, breathing new life into old structures. Hocking’s expertise in adaptive reuse strengthens NBBJ’s ability to assist clients in driving design innovation and delivering value as they adapt to changing market dynamics.
“Doug’s specialized knowledge of the way buildings were built over the past 50 years, combined with a vision for how to successfully reposition them for the next generation, is critical to the economic and social wellbeing of our cities,” said Robert Mankin, AIA, Managing Partner of NBBJ. Hocking previously worked at KPF in New York, where he led the design of prominent adaptive reuse projects.
