Generative AI Firm Opens Midtown South Office

Columbia Property Trust, Inc. has secured new leases at its 20-story office building, 315 Park Avenue South, in Midtown South’s Flatiron District. Harvey, a generative AI firm, has opened its first New York office, occupying the 17,050-square-foot fifth floor. Retail leases include Kernel, a vegan concept by Chipotle founder Steve Ells, and Just Salad, which extended its lease by five years.

The property features a mix of tech and financial tenants, including PitchBook and Twitch. “At Harvey, we believe that being together in a dedicated space is essential as we continue to build our team and product. We are excited to announce the establishment of our permanent office in NYC’s Flatiron District,” said CEO of Harvey, Winston Weinberg.

Columbia Property Trust was represented in-house by Maria Blake and Ted Koltis, in addition to a Newmark team of David Falk, Peter T. Shimkin and Jonathan Fanuzzi in the Harvey transaction. Harvey was represented by JLL’s Todd Stracci and Hugh Scott.
