Betenbough Companies to Build Lubbock Ops Center

The company has started construction on an $18 million facility to house their myriad businesses. Starting in 1992, the father-son homebuilding team soon expanded to Alcove Farms, Betenbough Companies, Betenbough Homes, Elevate Building Supply, Impact Title, Kingdom at Work, Ninety-Two Bakery & Cafe and The Willows Event Center. The company also has offices in Lubbock, Amarillo, Midland and Odessa.

The 410,000 square foot Lubbock building will hold 400 employees. Betenbough’s Kerry Ritchie says the time has come, “We are growing quickly and want to continue to give our employees beautifully designed workplace they want to come to work in. It’s important to us that our employees not only love their roles, have a comfortable and inspiring space to collaborate create, connect and innovate.” The building will have a cyclorama wall, garden, recording studio and 12 meeting spaces. It’s expected to open in early 2024.
