Barnes & Noble to Open New Store at Puyallup Mall

Barnes & Noble will open a new store at the South Hill Mall in Puyallup, Washington, this fall.

The national bookseller will take a 19,000-square-foot space formerly occupied by Super Jump Party Zone, between JCPenney and DSW. This will be the third new Barnes & Noble store to open in the Puget Sound area this year, with the chain also having locations in Issaquah and Bellevue, at a vacant space that was formerly a Z Gallerie store that closed in 2019.

The bookstore will be located at 3500 S. Meridian, and is one of the more than 60 new stores Barnes & Noble plans to open this year. The New York City-based retailer has been increasing its brick-and-mortar presence, looking to fill vacant spaces left behind by other retailers such as Bed, Bath & Beyond.
