Pokemon Eyeing 300K SF Space in Downtown Bellevue Project

Pokemon Company International is reportedly planning to lease a substantial amount of space in a 25-story office tower currently under construction in downtown Bellevue, per the Puget Sound Business Journal.

The tower, known as the Eight project by Skanska, is expected to be completed early next year at the intersection of 108th Avenue Northeast and Northeast Eighth Street. The project is the company’s second development in Bellevue and sixth overall in the Puget Sound region.

While no lease has been signed yet, the outlet reported sources familiar with the matter suggest that Pokemon could occupy over 300,000 square feet, amounting to approximately 56 percent of the total space available in the 540,000-square-foot tower. Other companies have also seized on opportunities in Bellevue, including Bytedance, the parent company of TikTok, which recently acquired an additional 66,000 square feet of space in Key Center.
