Senior Managing Director Jordan Ray founded and oversees Mission Capital Debt and Equity, now a part of Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation. Ray is well known as a very active real estate financier and has been honored as the Real Estate Finance and Investment Magazine’s Mortgage Broker of the Year and the NYU Schack Institution Financing Deal of the Year. He began his career with the Ackman-Ziff Real Estate Group in 2002, serving as managing director prior to his tenure at Mission Capital.

One notable highlight in 2021 was the arrangement of $64 million in financing for development of the Godfrey Hotel in Detroit; Ray partnered with MMCC’s Steve Buchwald and Jamie Matheny on the transaction. The 227-room hotel will be completed in 2023 and will be affiliated with Hilton’s Curio Collection.
