Walmart Commits to 176K-SF Santa Rita Ranch Location

Santa Rita Ranch has corralled 400,000 square feet of retail space in the Liberty Hill neighborhood with its Santa Rita Ranch Center project. Walmart plans to break ground on its nearly 176,000-square-foot storefront and distribution center there in the coming month. Walmart recently purchased the anchoring parcel for the project. Upon completion, the Walmart Supercenter should bring about 400 jobs to the area. The new Walmart is expected to come online in the fall of 2027 and join Liberty Hill’s Costco and H-E-B stores.

Santa Rita Ranch Center will have 31,000 square feet of shop space, 11 pad sites and three junior anchor sites within the 50-acre project. Not including Walmart’s space, the buildings should range from several thousand to 55,000 square feet.
