Oak Row and Mariposa Join Forces, Acquire FL Land for $520 Million
Oak Row Equities and Mariposa Real Estate partnered to acquire a 4.25-acre waterfront property in Miami, FL’s Brickell neighborhood for $520 million. The transaction was reportedly the largest single-land acquisition in South Florida.
At the time of closing, the property at 1001 and 1111 Brickell Bay Dr. held a 517,450-square-foot, 32-story office building constructed in 1985 and a 31-story, 357-unit apartment complex.
The site includes 485 feet of Biscayne Bay frontage and is zoned for over three million square feet of development. Oak Row Equities said it plans to build luxury condominiums on the site.
The waterfront assemblage was Brickell’s largest and last remaining developable site of this scale.
