Law Firm Crowell & Moring Inks 50K-SF River North Lease

International law firm Crowell & Moring has leased 50,000 square feet at 300 North LaSalle, a 60-story riverfront office building that recently underwent a $30 million plan overseen by the Irvine Company.

The move is the latest to underscore the continued flight to quality trend throughout the Chicago market. The international law firm will occupy two full floors in the 1.3 million sqaure foot building, which is one of three trophy towers in Irvine’s Chicago portfolio.

Crowell & Moring was founded in 1979 and has been named one of the top five most innovative law firms in North America. The firm was drawn to 300 North LaSalle for its amenities, riverfront access, proximity to city transit, and walking distance to various arts, culture and dining options.

“Companies like Crowell & Moring understand the importance of being together to drive productivity, innovation and develop the next generation of talent – and 300 North LaSalle is the ideal workplace to support businesses and drive their success.” Irvine Company continues to invest in local properties, including the nearly $30 million reinvestment plan at 300 North LaSalle and an ongoing $10 million reinvestment at One North Wacker.
