Ionic Development Expands Female-led Team  

Ionic Development, Co., a Boston-based female-led development company, has appointed Tamara Nikotina as assistant project manager.  

In her new role, Nikotina will work closely with Kaitlin McCarthy, Ionic’s Founder and CEO, to oversee development projects and design elements. She will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of Ionic’s newest projects, including Parcel D-4, a 200-unit income-restricted housing development in Seaport. Nikotina brings several years of structural engineering and project management experience, having worked with organizations like NorthStar Project & Real Estate Services and SGH.  

Ionic Development, Co. was established in 2023 to create opportunities for women in the male-dominated real estate development industry.
