Tishman Speyer Selected for Mission Rock MXU Development Assignment

New York-based Tishman Speyer was selected by the San Francisco Giants as its joint venture partner to develop the waterfront Mission Rock mixed-use urban neighborhood near AT&T Park in San Francisco. Mission Rock is a public-private partnership with the Port of San Francisco and the City and County of San Francisco. Tishman Speyer will serve as co-master developer and general partner.

Mission Rock will serve as a centerpiece for the emerging 28-acre Central Waterfront neighborhood and will include:

  • Roughly 1,400 residential rental units, with 40% affordable to low and moderate income families
  • Up to 1.4 million square feet of new, high quality office space
  • 250,000 square feet of neighborhood serving retail and local manufacturing space
  • 8 acres of parks and open space, including a signature waterfront park
  • Parking structure for ballpark and neighborhood needs
  • Rehabilitation of historic Pier 48
  • Public waterfront access and improvements
