Film/Video Company Expands in Brooklyn Relocation

ABS Partners Real Estate arranged a full-building, 3,200-square-foot lease for film, video and photo production company Makeout LLC at 299 Meserole St. in Brooklyn. The asking rent was $32-per-square-foot. The tenant is relocating and expanding from 61 Greenpoint.

Scott McAnney and Ben Waller of ABS represented the tenant in the transaction. The landlord, 299 Meserole Management LLC, was represented by Sholom and Zuckerbrot’s John Ritter.

“We were delighted to be able to find a location that was perfectly suited to Makeout’s continued growth, as well as its unique space requirements,” said McAnney. “We are dedicated to pairing the right office space with these mid-size creative companies that are being priced out of Manhattan.”

“Brooklyn offers a wonderful alternative thanks to its abundance of shopping, dining and entertainment options, as well as its access to multiple transportation hubs,” he added.
