ZT Corporate Acquires Neighbors Emergency Centers
ZT Corporate joined forces with Altus Healthcare System to acquire six Neighbors Emergency Centers in the greater Houston area. The free-standing emergency centers were acquired through auction, after the company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in August 2018.
The company owns Neighbors facilities in Baytown, Pasadena, Crosby, Porter, Pearland and Kingwood, TX. ZT’s portfolio also includes five free-standing Altus Health emergency centers in Texas, as well as hospitals, surgical centers and hospice care.
The new Houston-based owner said it is working closely with Neighbors’ leadership, physicians and staff to ensure a smooth transition. Services and jobs will not be impacted during the transition, and the centers will continue to operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
