Zom to break ground on 375-unit Tampa apartments

Zom to Start Work on 375-Unit Tampa Rental Community

Zom Living will soon commence construction on a 375-unit apartment complex in a Tampa mixed-used development after obtaining $63 million in financing. The loan came courtesy of TD Bank.

Zom is partnering with MetLife Investment Management on the project, which will feature an eight-story apartment building, 3,000 square feet of retail and a six-story parking garage.

MetWest Residential, as the complex will be known, will be built in MetWest International, a 32-acre mixed-use development across from International Plaza. The complex, which will be complete in the summer of 2026, will add to the development, which already includes 1 million square feet of office space, a 175-room AC Hotel by Marriott and a 56,000-square-foot retail center.

The apartment building will be made up of studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom units ranging in size from 576 square feet to 1,602 square feet.

The list of amenities includes a speakeasy-style lounge on the eighth floor as well as the ground floor retail.
