Zephyr Snags 90-Acre Former Oceanside Drive-In Site

An affiliate of Encinitas, CA-based Zephyr Investors LLC acquired the former Oceanside Drive-In Movie Theatre in Oceanside, CA. The site is roughly 90 acres, and is located near Hwy. 76 and Foussat Rd.

The property, located three miles from the beach, represents one of the last master plan opportunities in the SoCal coastal market and is currently the home of the Oceanside Swap Meet. The high-end residential developer closed on the fee simple purchase of the land and also successfully negotiated the termination of a long term ground lease that previously stalled the property from being redeveloped.

Land teams from Lee & Associates, North County San Diego and Colliers International handled the transaction. The Lee & Associates’ team included Matt Weaver and Al Apuzzo, while the Colliers International team included Ciara Trujillo and David Santistevan.
