Zello Announces Expansion, Relocation to Hartland Plaza
Push-to-talk service company Zello expanded its Austin presence by taking space at Hartland Plaza in downtown Austin. The company took 14,000 square feet at 1717 W. 6th St., on the west side of the top floor. The goal of the relocation and expansion is to provide more room for desk space, conference room, workspaces and an outdoor patio.
CIM Group owns the 167,303-square-foot Hartland Plaza, which it acquired in 2015. Aquila Commercial manages and leases the asset for the California-based landlord.
Zello’s move comes on the heels of corporate growth in the past year, including key executive hires and an increase in consumer and business-to-business offerings. Zello is used by deskless, remote and frontline workers to communicate securely over a live communication range.
