Zara Hits Westfield UTC
Spain-based fashion retailer Zara recently opened its doors at Westfield UTC mall in San Diego.
The store, with two levels encompassing 30,000 square feet, was built by Anaheim-based Gray at a cost of $4 million. Project Manager Albert Cisneros and Superintendent Tom Bostwick headed up the project.
Westfield started a $500-million expansion of the mall earlier this year. The work will include a renovated Nordstrom and an added 395,000 square feet to the 1.1-million-square-foot retail center. Another 300,000 square feet will be added to the mall at a later date.
