Yoka Tea to Open Second Location in Ballard

Korean and Filipino specialty cafe Yoka Tea is looking to open its second Seattle location in Ballard.

The first Yoka Tea location opened at 1101 34th Ave. near Madrona Park in Madrona in 2025. The cafe serves Korean and Filipino flavors and offers matcha drinks, boba, and coffee along with food from pop-ups. Yoka Tea also sells a variety of retail items and merchandize such as matcha powder, snacks and teas. The new, 2,200-square-foot shop will be located at 5335 Ballard Ave. NW. inside the former Little Tin Goods and Apothecary space. Little Tin shuttered in October 2025 after 10 years in Ballard.

In an announcement, the owners indicated they have faced about some delays on finalizing the new space, but that they are moving forward to complete the second shop. While Yoka doesn’t have an official opening date yet, the Ballard space is expected to open in the fall.
