Yoga Joint Expands to NYC with Locations in Midtown South, Williamsburg

Yoga Joint, a new concept from Adam Shane, previously chief development officer and EVP of operations at Barry’s, has leased space at Williams Equities’ 470 Park Ave. South, marking one of its two new locations as part of its expansion to New York City. Yoga Joint has signed a 6,300-square-foot, long-term lease and will occupy the entire ground floor and partial basement, bringing the building’s retail portion to full occupancy.

Simultaneously, South Florida-based Yoga Joint has committed to a location at 267 Kent Ave. in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, with plans to scale to 15-plus locations across New York City and surrounding markets by 2030, including Westchester, Long Island, Greenwich, Jersey City and Hoboken.

“Since acquiring the building at the beginning of 2025, we’ve focused on repositioning 470 Park Ave. South as a premier office location,” said Michael T. Cohen, principal at Williams Equities. “Yoga Joint elevates the building’s existing amenities and enhances tenants’ daily experience by meeting the increasing demand for easily accessible wellness offerings.”
