Yext Leases Vornado’s 61 Ninth for New HQ
Yext has unveiled its new headquarters building, to be located at 61 Ninth Ave. in the Meatpacking District. The brand management platform has leased the entire 142,500-square-foot office portion of the Rafael Vinoly-designed office property that’s owned by a partnership of Vornado Realty Trust and Aurora Capital Partners.
“The Yext Building is a temple of truth,” said Howard Lerman, the tech firm’s founder and CEO. “Located between Google’s NYC headquarters and the Apple Store, the Yext Building will inspire our team each day on our quest to put perfect answers everywhere.”
The new tenant will redesign the interiors of the nine-story 61 Ninth, at one time a candidate to house insurance giant Aetna’s global headquarters. Yext plans to add 500 jobs at the new location.
NKF’s Neil Goldmacher and John Moran represented Yext in leasing negotiations, along with Robert Karin and Leslie Kanter at Davis & Gilbert.
