Yesway, a convenience store chain headquartered in Des Moines, IA, added five Rip Griffin Travel Center conveniences stores to its portfolio. Four of the stores are in West Texas, with the remaining one in Joplin, MO. Yesway currently has 80 stores operating in Iowa, Kansas, Missouri Oklahoma and Texas, and indicated it plans to expand “at an accelerated pace over the next few months,” according to Thomas Nichlas Trkla with Yesway.

The stores in West Texas are:

• 202 Tahoka Rd., Brownfield
• 708 Frontage Rd., Idalou
• 4704 4th St., Lubbock
• 4609 Avenue A., Lubbock

Rip Griffin Cos. of Lubbock sold the travel centers for an undisclosed price.
