Yes! Adds 2,100 Manufactured Home Sites in MI

Denver-based Yes! Communities, among the largest owners and operators of manufactured home neighborhoods, has acquired a portfolio of nine manufactured home communities comprising more than 2,100 residential homesites across the state of Michigan. Terms of the transaction, including the identities of the seller or sellers, were not disclosed.

Steve Schaub, CEO of Yes!, said  the acquisition “not only adds nine communities to our growing portfolio, but also significantly increases our footprint in Michigan, one of the nation’s best markets for manufactured home communities.” The company’s portfolio now includes 188 communities across 17 states, containing in excess of 47,000 home sites.

Schaub’s announcement of the Michigan acquisitions was among his first actions as CEO,a promotion also announced Tuesday.  One of the company’s founders, he had served as COO since the company’s inception in 2008.
