XSpace to build hybrid storage units in Houston

XSpace to Land in Houston

The concept bills itself as a modern take on commercial and storage spaces. Unlike traditional coworking and storage spaces, XSpace customers can own their units outright. XSpace will be coming to the Houston Design District. The company already has a spot in Austin.

Unit owners at the Austin location use their spaces for storage, offices, gyms and podcast studios, among other uses. Co-founder Byron Smith has more, “The company is really focused on fostering a community for the new way in which people are working and using commercial space post-pandemic, and tenants also have the opportunity to own and invest in the space—not just rent.” The 4,000 square units will be fully ventilated, have drive-up access, hot and cold water and will be available 24/7.

XSpace is almost sold out of Tier 1-priced units, but other units remain for sale. The Houston version will be ready in 2024.
