Xebec Plans 1.6M-SF, 106-Acre Logistics Park in Ohio

Los Angeles-based Xebec purchased 106 acres southeast of Columbus, OH, and plans to invest $90 million to develop a five-building, 1.6-million-square-foot logistics project. Groveport Logistics Hub is envisioned as a master-planned campus comprised of Class A warehouse buildings ranging from 120,000 square feet to one million square feet, constructed in multiple phases.

Xebec’s Randy Kendrick says, “The logistics cluster surrounding the Rickenbacker Airport is one of the most strategic regions in the world for modern logistics. With its vast consumer reach (next-day access to 92 million consumers), this Southeast Columbus submarket is poised for continued growth and demand for high quality distribution and warehousing space with a special emphasis on the e-commerce space.”

The site borders Ohio State Route 317 and is nearby the Rickenbacker Inland Port, the largest cargo-dedicated airport in the world. The developer plans to break ground this summer on the initial phase.
