Construction company Clayco is going vertical on its second downtown Phoenix residential high-rise. X Phoenix I is a completed 20-story, 330-unit rental community that features fully furnished units, a full-service members-only club and 35,000 square feet of retail space.

X Phoenix II will contain 352 apartment units, as well as 394 parking spaces, a rooftop dog run, fitness facility, a 9th-floor pool and bike storage. The new high-rise will also have 15,000 square feet of co-working space. Clayco’s Eric Jaegers thinks the extras are a big plus, “The modern amenities of this facility combined with its co-living style offerings are truly one of a kind in the Phoenix market.”

It’s going up at 201 W. Van Buren, in Phoenix’s downtown core. The projects will be owned by Chicago-based developer, The X Company. The X Phoenix II is expected to be open for business in summer of 2024.
