WSU Breaks Ground on $80M Pullman Campus Engineering Hall
Washington State University recently hosted a ceremonial groundbreaking for Schweitzer Engineering Hall, a state-of-the-art educational building. The 60,000-square-foot hall will be built on an existing parking lot south of Carpenter Hall on WSU’s Pullman campus.
Washington State University selected a team comprised of general contractor Lease Crutcher Lewis and architect ZGF to build the Schweitzer Engineering Hall project on the school’s Pullman campus. ZGF is a prominent architect across the Pacific Northwest with seven offices across North America. Lease Crutcher Lewis specializes in sustainable buildings in the Pacific Northwest, focusing on advanced green building technologies and engineering.
The facility will support the WSU’s Voiland College of Engineering and Architecture to meet student needs in learning, research, and support. The building will house innovative, multi-purpose classrooms, student collaboration, and club activity zones.
