Wrigley Field’s Hotel Zachary Near Opening
Chicago Cubs fans who would like to spend the night near Wrigley Field will be able to do that starting in late March, when the long-awaited Hotel Zachary opens for business.
Construction is still being completed at the 179-room hotel, across from the Friendly Confines at 3630 N. Clark St. The hotel is part of a development plan created by Cubs owner Tom Ricketts and his family that included several refurbishments of the ballpark itself. Retail outlets also are opening as part of the plans.
The hotel is scheduled to open March 26, but is only taking reservations for April 23 or later. Reservations for earlier dates, including Cubs Opening Day April 9, will be available later.
Hotel Zachary includes at least three restaurants, with a rooftop eatery planned for 2019. Rooms will begin at $209 per night most days, $309 on game days.
