Wraps Come off Paséa for Memorial Day Weekend
The Paséa Hotel & Spa hosted a soft opening leading into the Memorial Day weekend. The 250-room Huntington Beach, CA property, adjacent to the iconic pier, offers a Bali-inspired spa, 11 meeting rooms, 34,000 square feet of ocean front event space, Tanner’s restaurant and a rooftop bar.
The project’s development team includes Irvine, CA-based Pacific Hospitality Group, which will manage the property, and Newport Beach, CA-based R.D. Olson Development, whose construction division is serving as general contractor.
In addition to The Pasea, Orange County’s flourishing hotel market includes three new hotels totaling 606 rooms that opened last year, and another 11 hotels totaling 2,365 rooms currently under construction. Irvine, CA-based Atlas Hospitality Group’s Alan Reay reports there were 25 hotels totaling 4,200 rooms planned through 4Q 2015.
