WPP Cuts Ribbon on 700k-SF Space at 3 WTC

Executives from WPP have cut the ribbon, marking the opening of its latest major office co-location at Silverstein Properties’ newly-opened 3 World Trade Center. The communications services giant will move 4,000 of its New York-based personnel from GroupM and Kantar to the new building, where it occupies 700,000 square feet, beginning next month.

3 WTC marks the fifth in a series of co-location campuses WPP has established across New York and in other global cities. In Manhattan, the group also houses operations at 3 Columbus Circle, 636 Eleventh Ave., 200 Fifth Ave. and 466 Lexington Ave.

At Monday’s ribbon-cutting, WPP global CEO Kelly Clark (pictured) said 3 WTC “reflects NYC’s boundless ambition to continue as one of the world’s most vibrant business centers. Now, it will also be a world capital for the ad, media, tech and information industries, and will attract a workforce of talented, inspiring and ambitious people.”
