World Class Property is Proud Owner of 3M Austin Center Campus

World Class Property Co., headquartered in Austin, closed on the acquisition of the 1.3-million-square-foot 3M Austin Center campus on the area’s northwest side. 3M will continue to occupy the campus until 2019, but World Class plans to immediately market the space to new tenants. The sales price was not disclosed.

3M announced in 2016 that it would sell the 150-acre property, which is on Rural Route 2222. The company plans to move its hundreds of employees to a new building in the Tech Ridge area of northeast Austin.

World Class’ new investment includes a main building complex of offices, labs and an innovation center, along with nature trails and walking paths. “This unique property allows us the opportunity to create a one-of-a-kind destination in a phenomenal location in Austin,” said World Class’ Nate Paul.
