Work Underway on Schluter-Systems’ First Texas Site, Totaling 500K SF

Schluter-Systems is developing its first Texas site, a 500,000-square-foot regional distribution center at Hillwood’s AllianceTexas. The facility, at Alliance Northport 1 in Northlake, TX, is anticipated for completion by Q1 2020, and will provide space for storage and distribution of the company’s tile and stone products, as well as for installer training. The facility at Interstate 35 W and SH 114 will also employ 300 associates.

According to Hillwood’s Tony Crème, the Plattsburgh, NY-headquartered Schluter-Systems selected AllianceTexas as its location following a “comprehensive search of the entire Dallas-Fort Worth market.” Added Marco Ludwig, with Schluter-Systems: “The Hillwood team had space immediately available at AllianceTexas to meet our current operational needs, with the capability to provide additional support and resources for future growth opportunities. With direct access to established transportation and logistics options and a robust workforce, AllianceTexas provides us with everything we need to succeed.”
