Work Underway on Hyatt’s 216-Key Thompson Denver
Hyatt Hotels Corp. launched construction on Thompson Denver, the first Thompson Hotel-branded property in the state of Colorado. The 216-room hotel is going north at 1600 Market St. in Denver’s LoDo, a downtown neighborhood near Union Station.
When completed in 2021, the hotel will offer a ground-floor restaurant, a terrace and bar, sunroom and courtyard. Other amenities will include a library and whiskey room, grab-and-go café and juice bar. T2 Hospitality is the developer, and DLR Group the architect of record.
Thompson Hotels are built with the local neighborhood in mind; no two are alike. “Denver has been a priority market for our Thompson Hotels brand, and we are excited to have the opportunity to be bringing it to this vibrant city,” said Hyatt’s David Tarr.
