Work Commences on $1B, 2M-SF, MXU Park Heritage

Seritage Growth Properties joined forces with KDC and Toll Brothers Apartment Living to develop the mixed-use Park Heritage. The project, which will hold up to two million square feet of office, retail and apartment space, is in the Midtown Dallas Redevelopment zone, at LBJ Freeway (Interstate 635) and Preston Road.

The project will go north on the former 173-acre Valley View Mall site, beginning with the teardown of a Sears store, which is vacant. Demolition of the old retail building and site cleanup is anticipated to take approximately 90 days. Also on tap are infrastructure improvements and road development.

Planning for the two high-rise office buildings, totaling up to 1.8 million square feet, is underway. KDC is the developer on the office side, while Toll Brothers will construct the first phase of apartments, totaling approximately 300 luxury residential units. Seritage is Park Heritage’s master planner and developer.
