Work Begins on Underwood Port Logistics Center

Triten Real Estate Partners and Carlyle Group began construction on Underwood Port Logistics Center, a 404,160-square-foot distribution center in Pasadena, near Port Houston. The asset, situated on 25 acres at 4600 Underwood Rd. on Houston’s southeast side, is scheduled to deliver in Q2 2019.

Triten is targeting consumer and home goods companies as prospective tenants. “We’re just trying to differentiate ourselves from the other projects coming to the market,” Triten’s Will Hedges told the Houston Business Journal.

Arch-Con Construction is the general contractor, and Munson Kennedy Partnership the designer. CBRE is leasing the facility on behalf of Triten and Carlyle. The property will offer 36’ clear-height ceilings, clerestory windows and full overhead dock door packages.
