WoodSpring Suites Expands Chicagoland Footprint

Holladay Properties LLC and Choice Hotels International have opened the third Chicago-area WoodSpring Suites location in Tinley Park, IL. It joins the extended-stay brand’s locations in Darien and Romeoville, IL, both of which opened in 2016, and the WoodSpring presence in Chicagoland is slated to expand further in coming years.

“This Chicago-area property fits perfectly into our strategy of bringing the brand to more major markets across the country, and we look forward to guests experiencing this hotel,” said Choice Hotels’ Ralph Thiergart.

Headquartered in South Bend, IN, Holladay is making its first foray into the Chicago hospitality market with its WoodSpring Suites program, although it has developed and built lodging properties under a variety of flags in its native Indiana. A fourth WoodSpring is under construction in Carol Stream, IL, and two more are expected to break ground in the next six months.
