
Woodside Hotel Group Secures $27M Financing for Two Properties
Sonnenblick-Eichner Company has arranged $26.75 million of non-cross centralized, fixed-rate, first mortgage financing for a pair of Woodside Hospitality Group properties: The Lafayette Park Hotel & Spa in Lafayette, CA and The Lodge at Bodega Bay in Bodega Bay, CA. Both 10-year fixed rate loans are non-recourse and were funded by a life insurance company.
The $15 million loan on the Lafayette Park Hotel retired an existing loan and provided over $4 million of capital for guestroom renovations. The $11.75 loan on the Lodge at Bodega Bay (pictured) paid off an existing bridge loan and provided for a return of partnership equity.
Located on Highway 24, the Lafayette Park Hotel offers 138 guestrooms with more than 14 million square feet of office space located within seven miles. The Lodge at Bodega Bay sits on the Sonoma County coastline and offers 83 guestrooms, with amenities that include a restaurant, a lounge, and a spa.
