Woodmont Buys into Baker Residential’s 190 W 54th St.

Baker Residential has partnered with Woodmont Properties to develop 190 W. 54th St., a new apartment property in Bayonne, NJ.

Construction is already well underway, next to Bayonne’s 40-acre Richard A. Rutkowski Park. The 220  luxury apartments are anticipated to open by spring 2019. Residents will have views of Manhattan and The Port of Newark, covered parking, a community pool, landscaped courtyards and a rooftop terrace.

Woodmont acquired a majority stake in the venture. As managing partner, Woodmont brings its development expertise, and both equity and debt capital. John Alascio, Brian Whitmer, Sridhar Vankayala, and Gloria Aboagye-Agyeman of Cushman & Wakefield represented the sponsor in the transaction.
