Woodmont Industrial Makes Buy on LI’s South Shore

Woodmont Industrial Partners recently acquired 100 Precision Dr. in Shirley, NY, on Long Island’s South Shore. Pricing wasn’t disclosed. The property, a 130,565-square-foot industrial property, is currently available for lease.

As part of its extensive capital improvement program, Woodmont will be executing a series of key infrastructure and building improvements intended to bring the property to Class A standards. These will include a new ESFR sprinkler system, new roof, installation of LED lighting and new dock doors along with other upgrades.

“Our mission is to continue to grow our portfolio of value-add industrial assets in markets throughout the U.S. where we see great potential,” said Woodmont VP Anthony Amadeo. “100 Precision Dr. fits extremely well with our model and requirements.”

With its proximity to the Long Island Expressway, he added, “The property is well located off the main thoroughfare in a tight market with low vacancy rates.”
