Woodmont Breaks Ground on Luxury Rentals in Metropark

Woodmont Properties, a leading owner, developer and manager of multifamily and commercial properties throughout the U.S., has broken ground on Woodmont Rail at Metropark, a luxury rental community bringing 300 residences to Woodbridge, NJ. Located at 186 Wood Ave. So. in the city’s Metropark submarket, Woodmont Rail is expected to deliver in 2028.

“Breaking ground on Woodmont Rail at Metropark, our most recent transit-oriented community, marks an exciting milestone for Woodmont and a meaningful investment in the future of Woodbridge,” said Stephen Santola, Woodmont’s EVP and general counsel.

He continued, “This community, located a short walk from the Metropark Train Station, will infuse new energy into one of the region’s key transit hubs while generating hundreds of construction jobs and long-term employment opportunities. We’re proud to celebrate this pivotal moment and are deeply grateful to the Township of Woodbridge for its partnership in rethinking areas in and around the Metropark commercial area.”
